Mectec Elektronik is proud to announce that SCA Witzenhausen in Germany chooses Mectec for the development, manufacture and installation of two complete solutions for automatic print and apply on large paper rolls.

- We have been working with a new partner in Germany, IDS, in this project. IDS is specialized in coding solutions for paper mills. The deal is of great importance for us because Germany is still a relatively small market for Mectec. We have a strong position in many countries around Europe and we see Germany as a priority market in 2011, says Patrik Jenemark, CEO at Mectec Elektronik and adds. We are already involved in projects at SCA in Sweden and in England and we are off course delighted to further cooperation within the group.

The solutions will be installed at the mill in Witzenhausen and will be labelling large rolls of paper produced from recycled fibers. The existing machines at SCA is no longer manufactured and therefore no service, support and spare parts available anymore.

- SCA needs to apply large labels in A3 format and we are the only vendor in the global market that can deliver such a solution today. This large labels are mainly used by paper mills around the world and as in many industries, it is important to have service and support for the company's machines to ensure their own delivery precision, adds Patrik Jenemark.
