The story of MECTEC starts back in 1986 and the company has since then grown into the market leader in Print & Apply.

 2011
MECTEC grows thanks to continued prosperity. The factory is expanded and the number of employees is now 70. We reach a new record of the number machines being produced, more than 1500 units.

2010 Another year of success with increased turnover, and the number of employees are now over 60. We introduce an enhanced printer on the market. |
 2008
MECTEC celebrates 20 years. We expand the office building with 11 new offices and a warehouse. During the autumn we launch PCU IV. MECTEC is now about 50 employees.

 2006 Domino Printing plc in England buys Mectec Elektronik AB and we become a part of the global Domino Group. |
 2005 The company has grown and moves to new premises at Agnesfridsvägen 189. We are now about 30 employees. |
 2003 We launch the T90, our A3 printer, and have now the most complete program of In-line printers on the market. |
1996
MECTEC signs contract with customer in Austria to deliver 75 machines. MECTEC moves to Singelgatan and we are now about 15 employees.

1991
MECTEC installs an automatic Print & Apply solution at Tetra Pak in Kiev, Ukraine.
